My sister’s keeper-The journey

My sister's keeper-The journey

Being a part of such an awesome program is very rewarding. To reach back and take my sister’s hand and guide her through, or even sometimes lifting her up and pulling her out because we know the right road to take. That’s what God wants us to do. That’s why He brought us out so that we can show others the way. We all have a story, I don’t need to know the details of my sister’s situation, how she got there, I just know that she is in need, that she has a problem. I am there as a vessel of God to help, not to judge. God has been so good to me, brought me through so much, took care of me, kept me even when I didn’t  know that I need to be rescued. There were times that I was my own worse enemy. Sometimes others take us to the fiery furnace, and there are times when we take ourselves. The blessing is that when we come out, we are pure gold, there is no smell of smoke, no stinch of fire, just pure refined gold. Wow, when I think back…oh God, how can I not help my sister along her journey. You don’t know my story, I don’t know yours, we all just need to know that we all have one.
When it is in our power to help another we should act. Don’t speculate on whether the person really is in need or what they are going to do with the gift that you just provided to them. Just act, God will take care of the rest. Daily surrender every aspect of our lives to Christ, keep Jesus as the core of our very being. God created us for His purpose, He will guide us in our decisions. Know the righteousness of God, what He has blessed cannot be cursed. The book of Micah 6, God said He will not see their iniquity, He would see the sacrifice. He will see us through the sacrifice of Jesus. He will not curse what He has blessed. So just because your are down, filthy, going through some things, into some real mess, believe that Jesus is Lord, He died on the cross for us all. He is the sacrifice, He said that He would never leave us nor forsake us. It doesn’t matter where you are right now, get up, dust yourself off and start standing on the Word of God. He will watch over His Word, get a Bible find  some scriptures that fit your what’s going on in your life., I like to start in the book of Psalm and began to pray the Word of God only. Pray God you said that you never leave me nor forsake me. See the promises of God in the book of Romans, Hebrew. I like the prayer of Jehoshaphat, you know those times when you really have some stuff going on, when your back is against the wall, and you don’t see a way out, ah, I’ve had those moments when you just don’t know what to do, well 2 Chronicles 20:12, then if you read on to verse 15 , God tells us don’t be afraid, you see first we need to take the spirit of fear out, the what if’s, He reminds us that the battle is not ours, but it’s His. He goes on to tell us that we won’t even have to fight, He will- that’s a place shout, right there, that’s a place to give Him praise, He tells us to just stand firm and see the salvation of the Lord, see our deliverance. He said get up, go on out there face them, and He, the Lord God will be with us. The Bible is filled with everything that we need, that’s why He gave us His Word. He’s got our backs! So wherever you are right now, whatever is going on, believe in your heart that God is going to make it right, He is going to take care of you. In the meantime, He has angels all around, He is not going to let this thing take you out. Have faith is God, he has power over all, faith always declares the outcome before the fight begins. There will be battles, but remember the battle is not ours, it’s the Lord’s. Speak God’s Word over your situation, where Jesus is there will be restoration. My sister, God loves you, no matter what you’ve done or didn’t do. Jesus has already paid the price, His Blood has covered our sins, we don’t have to keep beating ourselves up, get rid of self condemnation, and don’t let anybody keep you down by constantly bringing up your past God is not looking at it, why should you? Start from where you are, no matter how many times you fall, keep getting up. My sister believe that God loves you, you are a child of God. He knows all about us, just trust Him. His strength is made perfect in our weakness
