If we are constantly focusing on what we don’t have, or what we want,, or what someone else has, or what we’re always working towards, we sometimes forget to be thankful and appreciate what we do have. When we neglect our relationship with God and the blessings that He has given us, everything starts to die or wither. There is no growth. However if we cherish and nourish our relationship with our Heavenly Father, and our blessings, everything will began to grow, thrive and produce. Just like a plant, new leaves began to spring forth. Be thankful and see the blessings that are right in front of us. Be content, don’t keep jumping the fence for the uncertain.
10 Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
All your children will be taught by the Lord,
and great will be their peace.
14 In righteousness you will be established:
Tyranny will be far from you;
you will have nothing to fear.
Terror will be far removed;
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and this is their vindication from me,”
declares the Lord.
Be blessed, keep God first and keep looking up.
