Jesus died on the cross so that we may live, and enjoy life. He did not die to have
us live a life of shame, worry and regret. Shine the light of Jesus in the midst of our troubles, the darkness will disappear. The Word teaches us that God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in time of trouble (Psalm 46:1). No matter how bad things look, we have to keep casting all of our cares on Jesus. Even when the devil keeps turning the fire up on us, keep casting everything at the feet of Jesus. Quote scriptures over the problems, and do not give the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). The Lord will not let our problems destroy us. He will preserve us.
10 “Now then, just as the Lord promised, he has kept me alive for forty-five years since the time he said this to Moses, while Israel moved about in the wilderness. So here I am today, eighty-five years old! 11 I am still as strong today as the day Moses sent me out; I’m just as vigorous to go out to battle now as I was then.
Be blessed, keep God first, and keep looking up.
