A positive attitude

Blessed Friday

Have a positive attitude and speak only positive things in life about yourself and others; things to build up, not to tear down, things to bring about peace, not conflict .Stop speaking the problems, and start speaking the solutions. When things seem to be going so wrong, don’t sit and worry, it’s not going to change a thing. Start speaking scriptures over the situation, and watch God turn things around. Even if someone has spoken ill against you, don’t return the favor, you’ll only block your own blessings. The scriptures teaches us to pray continuously (1 Thes 5:16-18).The power of life and death is in our tongue (Prov 18:21). We must also be careful that we don’t find ourselves in a Sampson and Delilah situation, because the devil is into details.

Psalm 141:3-4

3 Set a guard over my mouth, Lord;
    keep watch over the door of my lips.
4 Do not let my heart be drawn to what is evil
    so that I take part in wicked deeds
along with those who are evildoers;
    do not let me eat their delicacies.

Proverbs 18:20-21

20 From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled;
    with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied.

21 The tongue has the power of life and death,
    and those who love it will eat its fruit.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Be blessed, keep God first, and keep looking up.
