Blessings not curses

Seek God and the blessings will find us. Honor God and no good thing will be withheld from us.

—

God’s anointing will bless us better than our talents. Even in our imperfections, God is still perfect. There’s peace, safety and our rest in the arms of Jesus. It’s where we receive unmerited favor, unspeakable joy, our healing and our deliverance. When we slip and fall, His grace is there to pick us up. For He who promised is faithful even when we’re not.

Don’t accept counterfeit blessing from evil. Satan can show you something that looks like a good opportunity or a good job, a good relationship, a good friendship, etc, but really he’s just  tricking you to block you from receiving the true blessings that God has for you. Ask God for a spirit of discernment. When God sends someone or something in our lives it’s to demonstrate His love for us. If it’s wreaking havoc, or separating us from our Heavenly Father, no growth, then it’s not of God. We need to distance our selves. If you know that you’ve achieved something by ill-gotten means, that’s not a blessing, that’s a curse and eventually it will destroy you. God has blessings for our present and our future. The devil has curses and a bag of tricks. Even if you screwed up, and made wrong choices, it doesn’t mean that you have to stay that way, we can always repent and start over. We have to guard our hearts and mind.

Matthew 6:33

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

2 Corinthians 11:14

14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

Proverbs 4:23-24

23 Above all else, guard your heart,
    for everything you do flows from it.
24 Keep your mouth free of perversity;
    keep corrupt talk far from your lips

Be blessed, keep God first and keep looking up.
