God should have first place in our decision making, in doing this we first have to fully believe and trust in Him and His Word. It’s like choosing to believe the person that reports the weather over the person that controls the weather. They can say rain, but if God chooses to dry up the clouds, there will not be a drop of rain. We have to establish or even re-establish our relationship with Him. The Word of God teaches us to seek God first for guidance and wisdom lean not unto our own understanding but acknowledge God in all of our ways and He shall direct out paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). He knows the beginning, the present and the future. Our Lord and Savior does not want us wandering around in a world of confusion-but have a world of joy, and peace of mind. The Lord is our Shepherd, He will guide and protect (Psalm 23), He is our provider, the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness there of. (Psalm 24). He knows the way in and the way out…and if there is no way, He will make a way as He did in parting the Red Sea ( Proverbs 14). Don’t try to figure out how God is going to do it, that will only lead to doubt and fear. God’s is omniscience, omnipotent and omnipresence- just ask, believe, receive and give thanks. Though you’re standing in a shaky place right now, be at peace, the same God that delivered before, will deliver again.
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.[a]
4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind
