Our Purpose

If we don’t have good feelings about ourselves, always thinking that we really have no purpose, or why did God take the time to make us—  how can we possibly be encouraging to our family and others? How can we complete any assignment that God has for us? Why are we spending time with people that are always complaining, or blaming others, people that are ‘bring me downers”, they always have a sad story. Before you know it, you’re all miserable, people are upset and no one is happy. Instead we should have good and wholesome conversations,  positive words to encourage each other., Do not spread misery and despair. We should surround ourselves with positive people, the ones that know their true identity (children of the Most High God), and want to grow in all that our Heavenly Father has for us. Those that know and truly believe that with God nothing is impossible. and we are more than conquers (Romans 8:37). The  Word of God teaches us that Jesus is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us and nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:34-35). God created us all with love, we all have purpose, we’re unique and individual.  Psalm 5:12 tells us that we have been given favor from the Lord, it’s our inheritance as a child of God. What we see on the outside is not nearly as important as who we are on  the inside, we were all made for a specific purpose. So before you count yourself out, look deeper inside there is something really special that God put in you that He didn’t put in anyone else and it’s for His glory.

Romans 8:5-8

5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

Be blessed, keep God first, and keep looking up.
