It’s hard to believe that the year 2013 is almost over, but the month of December is finally here. The planning, decorating, the hours of endless shopping is all here. As we go through this month let’s not become so inundated with responsibilities and tradition that we for the reason for the Christmas Holiday. While buying gifts for everyone, let us not forget the wonderful gift that was given freely to us-Jesus.
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
2 Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
Be blessed, keep God first, and keep looking up.
