Stop Living Life In Your Rear View Mirror
One thing that we know for sure is we cannot un-ring a bell. Mistakes, missed opportunities, failures, it’s all apart of our learning process from glory to glory. God is not focused on all of our many falls, (and some of us have had many), He is focused on our getting up– Stop trying to go back and fix it. It’s not abo ut who we were, or how we think things should have played out, it’s about today, right now. It’s about getting up, a new step, a new try, because we serve a God of another chance. His joy is not seeing you in defeat, but seeing you victory. He’s an ever present help to us- the great I Am, whatever we need Him to be, He is. So stop looking in the rear view mirror, or you’ll miss out on the beautiful blessings that are right in front of you.
13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead,14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
