GOOD COMMUNICATION IS ESSENTIAL:
“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers”(Ephesians 4:29).
Satan is the corrupter of words, of lives, of truth. The Enemy corrupts God’s own words by distortion and by misuse, even as he did in the Garden of Eden and at the temptation of our Lord. And when our own words begin to reflect his ideas and his message of doubt, we spread words which are corrupted. Corrupt communication spreads doubt. Corrupt communication breeds distrust and destroys reputations. Corrupt communication comes from the heart where a devilish attitude is entertained.

Heated words and spiteful verbal thrusts always destroy communication. They act as a barrier to harmony and love. The Word teaches that these enemies of harmony and good communication come from the heart which is filled with self-pity or selfish desires. How much sweeter would be the understanding which we would share, if we prayed the psalmist’s prayer, “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer”(Psalm 19:14).
