The Word of God teaches us that we live in peace with God through faith. We can be counted among the most affluent, but without peace of mind our lives are as penniless socialites. We should also be careful to guard our minds and hearts. If it’s not positive or something that will edify another don’t entertain it, stop it at the door. Otherwise that negative spirit will start clinging to you. A kind act/word, a hug, a smile, or just listening can bring about good and turn away wrath.
5 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith[b] into this grace in which we stand, and we[c] rejoice[d] in hope of the glory of God.
29 Don’t say anything that would hurt another person. Instead, speak only what is good so that you can give help wherever it is needed. That way, what you say will help those who hear you.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
Be blessed, keep God first, and keep looking up.
