Building Strong Foundations

Obeying and worshiping God should be our lifestyle, and seeking His approval our daily routine. The word of God encourages us to build good solid foundations in our lives. Making sure that the foundations are strong in our children’s lives, our household and our communities so that when troubles come (which none of us are exempt), we are not easily shaken and destroyed. We stand in confidence knowing that even though the rains, flood waters, rocks or even boulders try to come against us, our foundation remains firm. , Our belief in God and His power made stronger in our weakness.

Luke 6:48-49

48 They are like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built. 49 But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.”

2 Corinthians 4:7-9

But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

Be blessed, keep God first, and keep looking up.
