Happy Blessed Wednesday-
The Word of God teaches us though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage war in the flesh (2 Cor 10:3). Stop hating and trying to destroy your neighbor, our fight is not against flesh and blood. Pull back the shades and see the real enemy, it’s the devil (Eph 6:10-12). He created a lie of deception to make people think he doesn’t exist. He then goes about wreaking havoc, planting seeds such as anxiety, confusion, fear, hatred, illness, violence and murder. As children of God we need to pray and ask God to open the eyes of those that have been blinded by this lie. Pray that our Heavenly Father will also show us any area in our lives where the devil is trying to sneak in. Let’s put on the full armor of God and remove the enemy out of lives, our homes, our schools, our communities and even our churches. Instead of lashing out, or making a bad decision that’s going to cause you even more trouble, step back from the situation and seek the Lord. Plead the Blood of Jesus over the circumstance. Seek God’s peace and His wisdom because He doesn’t always remove the thorns in our flesh (2 Cor 12:6-8). They are there for His purpose in our lives, for our discipline, training and obedience. God is a God of order, He is not a God of confusion (1 Cor 14:33) and where sin and trouble abounds God’s grace abounds even more ( Rom 5:20), and His grace is sufficient for every area of our lives (2 Cor 12:9).
Ephesians 6:13-18 (NLT)
13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. 15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.[b] 16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.[c] 17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.[d]
Be blessed, keep God first and keep looking up,
