The world wants conformity, not the Word of God. Unfortunately the end of conformity to the world is death. The Word of God teaches us in Rom 12 :2 to not be conformed to this world, don’t copy the behavior or the customs, but overcome the world with the assurance of God. Allow Him to transform us by changing the way we think. Our faith in God will overcome our enemies and any fears, so never compromise with the enemy. If you do you’ll have to continue compromising to stay where you are or keep what you obtained. We learn in Pro 10:2 ill-gotten gains and treasures of wickedness do not profit, But righteousness delivers from death. So it’s better a dry crust eaten in peace than a house filled with feasting–and conflict and strife. If we put our trust in God, we lack nothing, He will supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory. We are taught in Prov 10:22 The blessing of the LORD brings wealth, without painful toil for it. Jesus never conformed to the world and He always had everything that was needed.
12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
Be blessed, keep God first and keep looking up,
